An Economy that Works

Pennsylvania has the lowest minimum wage of every surrounding state. In Harrisburg, Nancy will continue to fight to raise the minimum wage and to pass legislation to create new jobs in the renewable energy sector. Additionally, Nancy believes unions are a key part of our workforce.  As Mayor, Nancy passed a Responsible Contractor Ordinance which states that any work done in her municipality over $250,000 must be completed using union labor. She is a strong supporter of unions, and her son was a union electrician with 98 North.
